MOB Gives

One of Michael’s favorite quotes is “choose not a life of limitation.” In honor of Michael’s nephew, Aidan, the MOB Family of Businesses donates to Autism Speaks. The organization promotes solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

If a “dog is man’s best friend” Lohi, the O’Brien family Vizsla, is Michael’s best buddy. In celebration of Lohi, Pacey, Daisy, Cosmo, Bowdie and so many other four-legged animals who have captured our hearts, the MOB Family of Businesses donates to ASPCA. Founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment, ASPCA is recognized as a national animal welfare organization. ASPCA pledges to keep animals safe in loving homes.

As the saying goes, “home of the free, because of the brave.” The MOB Family of Businesses are strong supporters of our military heroes and their families by giving to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Angela’s dad, Joe, served 20 years in the Air Force and her grandfathers on both sides were also in the military - one a World War II Purple Heart  recipient, the other  a career pilot. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives to save others on September 11, 2001. The organization also provides mortgage-free homes to military members and first responders.

Michael's support of Habitat for Humanity began while attending Syracuse University. A spring break trip to Tennessee to build a home for a family in need affirmed Michael's belief that every person deserves the shelter they need to thrive. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. Believing that affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities, Habitat for Humanity builds a strong foundation where families can grow.
